Savini Spa Mallorca: Custom Sauna Construction

An unused room, a nook with awkward dimensions, or a spot by the pool that you'd like to put to better use in the future: You don't necessarily need a traditional spa area to install a private sauna. What matters most is what you can create with the space you have.

That is exactly what SAVINI SPA by Roberto Savini focuses on. Instead of trying to fit a ready-made cabin as best as possible, the company creates saunas whose size, layout, materials, and technology are tailored to each individual project. This allows a compact indoor sauna to be created from just a few square meters—or a private spa with a sauna, steam room, and adjoining relaxation area to be built from a spacious area.

Custom Sauna Construction

With a custom-built sauna, it is not standard dimensions that determine the space, but rather the space that determines the sauna. The floor plan, ceiling height, utility connections, and intended use are therefore all factored into the planning from the start.

Seating and lounging areas can be customized, as can glass fronts, doors, and lighting. Wood, glass, and adjacent surfaces are selected so that the sauna blends in with the property's design while also being constructed in a technically sound manner.

Roberto Savini combines many years of experience in the construction industry with technical expertise in plumbing, tiling, and building technology. This combination is particularly important in sauna construction: the stove's output, ventilation, connections, and material composition must be just right, as must the proportions and design.

In addition to custom-built systems, the company also offers prefabricated saunas. Depending on the space, requirements, and desired scope, customers can choose between a fully custom-built solution and a pre-designed one.

Indoor and Outdoor Saunas in Mallorca

Not every sauna has to be built inside the house. Patios, gardens, and pool areas offer additional options for an outdoor sauna.

For outdoor installations, location and construction are just as important as weather conditions and technical connections. Indoors, on the other hand, existing room layouts, ventilation, and adjacent areas must be taken into account.

Savini Spa offers both options and tailors the layout and amenities to each specific situation. This makes it possible to use both new construction and existing properties to create a private sauna area.

Steam rooms and private spa areas

If you'd like to experience heat in a different way, you can add a steam bath to your sauna or design a separate steam room.

This is precisely where we see how closely design and technical execution are intertwined. High humidity places special demands on waterproofing, drainage, surfaces, and connections. Tiles and natural stone can be just as much a part of the design concept as custom-designed seating or lighting.

For larger projects, a sauna and steam room can be combined with a shower, hot tub, ice bath, or relaxation area to create a cohesive wellness concept. What matters most is not so much the number of individual elements as their coordination: materials, technology, and layout should be designed to work together from the very beginning.

Technology That Complements the Sauna

The sauna heater is not selected independently of the room either. The room's volume, desired temperature, intended use, and technical requirements determine which power rating and model are appropriate.

Savini Spa offers a variety of oven and control solutions. Depending on the configuration, modern control systems can regulate temperature, humidity, and other functions. Digital and Wi-Fi-based solutions are also available.

This means that the technology is not added later, but is integrated into the sauna during the planning phase.

Experience in Providing Customized Solutions

Behind Savini Spa is Roberto Savini, whose craftsmanship spans several fields. This breadth of expertise is particularly advantageous when a sauna is not to be installed in a pre-prepared, standard-sized room.

Unusual dimensions, existing installations, or the combination of different materials require solutions that cannot be found in a catalog. Planning, manufacturing, and technical implementation are therefore tailored to the specific project.

The workshop, showroom, and sales office are located in Santa Ponsa. This allows us to design and build custom saunas and spa solutions right here in Mallorca.
